Environmental Justice Policy Forums Continue throughout Ohio and Online!
Our March EJ forums were such a success that we will be continuing the forums throughout 2007, continuing the work to draft environmental justice policy, for the people, by the people affected.
Environmental Injustice:
Policy Gaps at the Local, State and
National Levels
Please RSVP for a forum in your area by calling
Dawn Dixon at (614) 487-7506 or e-mailing dawn (at) oec (dot) org or forums (at) ohioej (dot) org
(dates and locations below)
This forum will provide an opportunity for
everyone who has been part of the rolling Ohio
environmental justice policy train to come together to
review what we have learned and to have a voice in
creating a working draft of a new environmental justice
policy for our State

Sign a Post Card Calling for Safe and Healthy Communities
Join us in support of asking Governor Strickland to establish an Ohio Environmental Justice Policy that will protect and give voice to working class, low-income and communities of color unfairly burdened with pollution.
We are asking for Ohio residents to sign the postcard online or download and print the postcard, sign it and send it to Ohioans for Health and Environment and Justice. When the draft policy is presented to the Governor, we would like to have these postcards in hand to show support for a statewide environmental justice policy.
